    After owning a gym for 10 years, I know quality gym equipment when I see it. These dumbbells are very well made. It is easy to change the plates and they have great handles. Anyone with limited space or who just wants a good set of adjustable dumbbells at a reasonable price, these dumbbells are it!

    Good quality, Easy to use, Convenient Storage/Carry Case

    The issue I have with this product is that it is in fact not a 40 pound set! The weights themselves add up to only 30 lbs (4 x 5 lb weights & 4 x 2.5 lb weights.) One might expect that when you add the weight of the bars and caps the total weight would equal 40 but this is not the case! Together the bars & caps only come out to about 6.5 lbs (I weighed them on a scale because they felt especially light.) It might seem like I'm splitting hairs, but to be fair this is super misleading. Other than that (as the title suggests,) the overall quality of the materials is very good and the quick & free shipping was an added perk as well. I am keeping the set because of this and will probably buy a few heavier weights in the future.

    Perfect Set, Sturdy, Super Easy to Change Weight Plates.

    This set is exactly what I was looking for. The dumbbells feel very balanced, and they don't generate much noise thanks to the included rubber bands to cushion the weight plates. The handles are textured to prevent them from slipping. Also, they are not going to chip, since they are not painted (like some other versions I've looked at). There is really nothing I don't like about them. It's an amazing value for the price.

    First set of dumbbells for my new weight training room.

    These dumbbells are perfect for my new weight training room, I will be able to start out light and work my way all the way up to 50+ lbs. each !     Durable and Great Quality Adjustable Dumbbells

    So far had them for over a week, they are very comfortable to use. These came odorless because they have the baked enamel finish vs the cast iron ones so they wont rust on you. Items came in two separate shipments, the bar was roughly 5.8 lbs, the weights all weighted what was advertised compared to other products sold here for roughly the same price these actually weighed properly. Switching between weights isn't too complicated, its expected you will take a little longer than lets say the bowflex adjustable weights to switch between weights but again the price definitely is worth it. From what I have read the bowflex adjustable weights can break on you, these older style dumbbells don't have that issue so these will last you a long time. Definitely a good investment.
