The pair of mirrors look good but the Austin 1800 never had a pair of mirrors. Only one on the driver’s side. I will use both. Problem. Mirror passenger side has internal spring gadget hanging low so the mirror does not fit flush to the door and secondly the arm from the base to the mirror is not upright enough. You can barely see the new mirror on the door from the driver’s seat.
It needs to sit up higher. The arm needs to at 40-50 degrees not 15-20 degrees. I don’t want to damage mirror.

Initially bought these and the quality is terrible.
Unable to tighten them with out them cracking or falling off. And if tightened softly enough to not break them they spin sideways when driving from the wind.
Contacted seller and they were unable to do anything to help, after waiting weeks between replies I paid full price for another set thinking maybe I just got a bad pair.
Had the exact same issue with the new pair and the seller will not refund me.
