Product Information

The Playmates Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Donatello Action Figure, introduced in 1988, is one of the very first action figures in the Playmates franchise. This makes this action figure a worthy collectible. Part of the "first wave" of Turtles figures, Donatello was accompanied by nine other figures including April O'Neil, and Shredder. Like the other turtles in this series, Donatello's head, shoulders, elbows, and wrists are articulated so that you can make him perform all of the action stunts necessary to take down Shredder and his cronies. However, while his legs can move in and out, they are not fully articulated. The figure is fully equipped with Donatello's distinctive purple bandana, two rods, and a number of belts. Like all action figures in the first production wave made between 1988 and 1997, toy collectors consider this Donatello action figure a vintage collectors' item.
