I made a mistake and let my old housing freeze with water in it this winter. It cracked. This filter housing is an exact replacement. But for my mistake, this is a heavily built piece of equipment. Shipping was prompt and arrived reasonably quick.

There are extremely high priced and simple put cheap filters. The one it comes with is a good filter. One other tip experienced shoppers will understand. When you find the filter that works best for you but in bulk.
