The 5X HDMI switch works perfectly and is exactly as described. It's a great value for the money. The shipping was fast.
It doesn't even need to use the supplied power cable because it gets enough power from the HDMI output cable connection. I like that the unit has a button to select the input source so you don't have to use the remote. The supplied remote is still handy to have, though.

I love the size of this hub. It is about the size of a Pi. The remote is super sweet and makes switching between computers easy. It arrived in my mailbox in 4 days, which is very nice, and the free shipping is a plus as well. I will have to order at least one more in the near future. Now if only I could find a similar setup for a mouse and keyboard.
