The box arrived in not so good shape but I didn't think anything about it. I later opened the box to find that it did not contain the aux power cord for the unit. Once I looked more closely at the box, you could tell that it had been opened before and the power cord removed. I contacted the seller and we'll see what happens. The description said NEW, but it had obviously been out of the box prior to my purchase.

Awesome little storage device

The hardware is sleek and sexy. the interface simple and friendly. easy to set up. CONS: Seagate and lyve will no longer support it the app will be canceled thus turning this into a brick. there is a link on youtube so you can disassemble to harvest the hard drive but basically don't buy this only good for parts unless someone creates a new app to work with this or someone creates access to the device via IP so you can manually load pictures. Not what I thought a 2TB wireless external hard drive would be
Very difficult to figure out how to use it or even transfer files from PC to the drive. Is it a hard drive as a normal wired hard drive? I don't know. May try to set it up again...maybe it's me!

what a joke
They drive is great for nothing but pictures, and even then you are using your computers hard drive to view them. Movies a the biggest joke. you wait for a half hour before you can a movie, because it copies to your hard drive first.
