outstany ding upgrade. It made a marked difference on the heat problem with my unit. Before the 4 resistors on the noise reduction board were extremely hot and now after the upgrade these resistor barely get warm. Fantastic instructions on how to do the upgrade also. If you have a MXR-130 definitively buy this kit and install it
