Overall, I am satisfied with the units' performance. However, the unit shown with the $115 price is not the same as what is delivered to the customer. The picture, as it turns out, is of a 50-pint unit with pump. This is what I thought I was getting. I am not looking to return the unit, but dehumking123 should change that page so that the unit the customer is going to get for the $115 is one and the same. Currently, it is misleading.

great size, does its job
This is my second hisense dehumidifier. The first is over 2 years old and still works great so I thought I'd try another. So far its doing a great job other than the percentage of humidity display is off by about 7-10 percent. Not a problem for me because I have an analog hygrometer. I just set it at a higher percentage. I do appreciate how the filters are on the sides because I have the unit in a wood shop. This makes cleaning them much quicker as they frequently get dusty. One other minor con is that the hose fitting access is smaller than normal. Regular hose fittings will just fit in the compartment. Replacement or repair fittings will not. Great Unit
This unit is very efficient and does an excellent job in a 384 square foot utility room with concrete floor. I set it manually on 35 with fan speed on auto and it keeps the room at 32% without running all the time! The only downside is there is no inspection glass for the bucket. You have to open it and look to see if it needs dumping unless you just let it run until full and the auto shut off turns unit off. That's not a deal breaker for me. I purchased this to help dry clothes i hang in a guest closet to dry. It does generate s fair amount of noise but works for me because i don't use the room on a regular basis. It does a excellent job of drying the clothes and they are basically dry after 8 hours. As other reviews note, it also generates a fair amount of heat but this works to my advantage in helping to dry the clothes. I would purchase again.
