    Takes a little Dremel work to get that perfect fit, so don't give up. Spent about an hour adjusting and trimming to a perfect fit.     Nice Grip, Requires Some Effort

    I did have to make modifications to my Taurus 66. Had to remove two roll pins from the frame. Also, the hardware that comes with the grip includes a pin, much like those used to install a watch band, and reaching the area to install this pin was difficult. Forceps were needed to get in installed. But then, after some effort, the grip is installed, and is narrower than the original wooden grips, which is my reason for this purchase.

    Very nice grip for certain models

    This grip was sold as a grip for large and medium frame square butt revolvers. I bought this specifically for a Taurus model 44 6” barreled 44 magnum. There is an unacceptable amount of slop in how the grip is mounted and in the final fitting on that specific model of revolver. The most egregious part is a nearly 1/4” gap between the bottom of the frame and where the grip frame starts. That all being said the grip itself is nice. And in an appropriate pistol it will be a very nice upgrade from standard Taurus grips.

    Not a good fit for my Taurus 608

    It was tricky to install and NOT a good fit on my Taurus 608. Didn't realize I'd have to put the gun in a vice and pound the horizontal metal grip pin out of the metal handle... big hassle. Once I got it on and was tightening the base bolt I had to ease off because the grip started to bow out in the side thin areas, so the grip had to be quasi tight and I didn't like that, so I reinstalled the original grip to have a tight secure fit, having to pound the taurus grip metal pin back into the metal handle. I did read some complaints about this after I experienced it. At around $20 it's not worth the hassle for a return/refund debacle and stuck it in my junk drawer.

    Great option to upgrade your model 82

    I purchased this to upgrade the grip from my OEM wood grips to a one Monogrip for my Taurus Model 82. I simply removed the wood grips. Installed the stirrup on the existing cross pin as shown in the instructions, and on YT videos. Slipped on the grip onto the revolver handle using the guide channels on the grip then installed the mounting screw and it tighten up the gap at top near the hammer. You can use strips of tape to aid in fitment of the grip into place. Tighten up to snug and you're good to go. I was also using a Pachmayr grip adaptor, but this one piece monogrip is a big improvement for the comfort of shooting your weapon.

    Hogue grip is mostly okay but very good quality.

    It is a great grip if it fits your hand. It was not a good fit for my hand. It is of excellent quality though. I made a few modifications to mine and it works pretty good. The warranty is no good now but I am okay with that. The grip is great for the right person.
