    Quality is good, condition is excellent, value is good and appearance is as listed but the item does not work well with windows 7/8.1/10/11 external CMEDIA cm6206 usb 5.1 sound external sound card. The Logitech z-5500 subwoofer is not detected and enabling bass management and other elements does not work with the CMEDIA cm6206 usb 5.1 sound external sound card plugged into a intel nuc. I did get this item to work with internal motherboard internal sound card with 5.1 ability without issue.

    The item was packed well & exactly as described. It arrived much quicker than the estimate, which was nice. Used control pods go for $80+ in decent condition, so getting this for $50 was great. It looks solid and well made. It works really well & sounds fantastic but you do have to enable the bass management feature in Windows sound properties for the audio output device for it to work properly. Otherwise, it doesn't properly separate the low frequencies to send to the sub. So glad I found this!

    5/5 Stars - Saved My 15-Year-Old Speakers! I thought I'd have to replace my trusty Logitech Z-5500 speakers after the control unit finally gave up after 15+ years. But this replacement unit was a lifesaver! Plug-and-play setup was seamless, and the sound quality is still top-notch. The new control unit fits perfectly, and I'm impressed by the build quality. It's amazing that it's still compatible with my old speakers.
