While this keyboard replacement fits the noted Dell model laptops, it is not a Dell product as stated in the listing. The flat ribbon cables have to be folded at multiple lengths in order to fit into the interfaces on the motherboard. So buyers should be aware of these conditions when purchasing. Wish I had known.

Great replacement keyboard at a great price

Poor quality, not recommended...piece of junk!
Poor Quality, difficult to see in low light... would not recommend. Backlight is not evenly dispersed around the outer edges and the "U" key is much brighter (picture #1) than all the other keys to the point that it is distracting. Also the print on the keys is grey and difficult to see as opposed to a bright white that was used on the original keyboard (see picture #2). Better off paying a little more and buying an OEM keyboard. Please note that I am not the only one that has had the same issue with this keyboard.Poor Quality, difficult to see in low light... would not recommend. Overall the keys are mushy and don't have the feel of the original keyboard. During the install I found the larger keyboard ribbon cable to be more difficult to install than the original as well, the smaller backlight cable was fine though. The item arrived damaged and bent both on the edge of the keyboard and 1 tab was completely bent at 90 degrees even though it was bubble wrapped so it was obviously packaged that way.Overall the keys are mushy and don't have the feel of the original keyboard. Great replacement - bought a new aftermarket one but some keys are wonky, could be that my fingers are used to the original keyboard (of 5 years) so ultimately decided to get a used original one, and I am glad I did!

backlight bleeds and uneven, the keys are too high and there are alot of gaps between the keys unlike the original. Very noticeably different and the function images are missing form the keyboard as well. The key has a creaking sound as well. would not recommend this keyboard
