It works as good as any power mic I own or ever owned.
It works as good as any power mic I own or ever owned. There is a powerful amplifier in the mic. It boosted the SSB transmit signal almost as high as my D-104. The D-104 can boost the audio higher but than it causes distortion. I can use either microphone depending on how I am using the radio it is connected. I only have good things to say about this microphone. I haven't found anything negative using the power mic so far. It must be used in a quiet environment. The mic will pick up everything. Was amazed.
First time buyer of this brand. Put battery in and installed mic on my Uniden PC78LTX. Had to turn down my mic gain on radio just slightly. My friends were impressed. I am using it on my base station setup. Very impressive for the price. No problems at all.

Not as good as I thought it would be. It gives some amplification but not much. My dynamic stock mic is almost as good as this mic can’t really turn it up past 5 or 6 it will over modulate bad.
