I bought this product for my horse, he doesn't like being sprayed and I wipe on the fly spray with a rag, so the roll on, without poisons, seemed a great idea. I am able to roll it around his eyes, he objects less than the rag and the flies don't like it, but after twenty minutes or so later, the flies are back again, so I don't know if it's as great a deterrent as I had hoped, but I'm continuing to use it with the spray. I haven't seen any mosquitoes on him, but the next door horses are covered in them, so I think it may be more for mosquitoes than flies and that's good, too.
