    Wonderful tale spinning by Tolkien

    I'm a 76 year old grandfather whose 13 year old granddaughter read this trilogy including 'The Hobbit' years ago! She is extremely enthralled with fantasy books/stories and I thought that I would give The Hobbit a whirl myself in order to understand what she had been talking about. What a romp; I just had to continue the storyline after Bilbo left home.... So far, I'm into the first half of the first book and the trilogy continues to entertain. I can only imagine just where these 3 books will take me! The books are printed in a highly readable text, the covers and slipcase are attractive and my seller slipped a metal bookmark into the pages of book 1 - what's not to like?
