Decent value vises for the money if you don't need Swiss quality
These seem like good vises for the money. Pros: They feel well-balanced and the clamping slide is effective and simple to operate with one hand. Plus you get a set of four for less than the price of a single Swiss vise. Cons: Tolerances and overall fit-and-finish are a bit rough, as you'd expect at this price. The finish, while described as "chrome" also seems more like nickel to my untrained eye. If that's the case, it's not a problem for me as nickel is a bit softer and less likely to damage finished parts. Also, the box doesn't hold the vices securely at all--they flopped around out of their slots during shipment but, luckily, were undamaged. A simple sheet of bubble wrap in the box would solve the problem. Conclusion: For critical work, I'd spend more on better vises. But if you ... These seem like good vises for the money. Well machined tools.
These pin vises are made in India, and are very well machined on the threads and collars. They are nicely chrome plated with an excellent finish. The mandrels are thick and look to be an item that should last. Each mandrel has two different openings so in total there are eight different sizes for holding bits and wires. The wood storage box is very basic, rough and unfinished. But that is not of any consequence.These pin vises are made in India, and are very well machined on the threads and collars.
