    Nikon Coolpix P1000 Digital Camera

    Have another Coolpix and the Coolpix 1000 has similar controls, a plus for me, as well as an amazing zoom. While it is a heavy camera it is not like I'm lugging around extra lenses because, for my use, the zoom covers a lot of uses. The extras such as a filter, lens cap saver, bag and other items are a plus and I would probably have spent more to get them. And then there is the SnapBridge app which allows downloading pictures to my phone as well as setting up the camera and taking shots remotely. So much good stuff.

    Enjoy it so far

    First off the process was easy and it arrived on time. Bought this because a friend of mine suggested it for long distance pictures. It does take great pictures and l am still learning all it has too offer. Was thinking of upgrading my current camera and this fits what I need for less cost. I definitely would recommend buy it if you are starting out in photography and want a great camera that is easy to use. Many scenes that all you have to do focus and click.

    Use it almost daily!

    Little heavy but not as bad as my other camera setup! Great zoom capabilities with some limitations. The macro setting is great for close up pics. All in all it is a great camera as long as the user can deal with a few limitations.

    I like the P1000 as much as the P900 that I have used for many years. It should be more fun because of the longer zoom. Nikon produces a great camera!
