Hit 32mph down hill. 27 flat and 22-24 up hill. Still running down the first battery. Components are cheap. One light on the battery indicator is not working. Plastic tab holding control wires to throttle broke off before Install. You could probably bypass all of that and install a kill switch instead. Use your old brake levers and shifters that way. Overall I'm very happy with my 30 yr old mountain bike conversion.
