Absolutely perfect addition to any 1911 for either looks upgrade or faster loading, iv loved mine since I added it to my 1911 and have bout 3 more for my other 1911's it is very well built and strong material, iv accidentally dropped mine a couple times and it's yet to hurt it or damage my gun, overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and I will definitely recommend to anyone that is thinking bout buying one.Absolutely perfect addition to any 1911 for either looks upgrade or faster loading, iv loved mine since I added it to my 1911 and have bout 3 more for my other 1911's it is very well built and strong material, iv accidentally dropped mine a couple times and it's yet to hurt it or damage my gun, overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and I will definitely recommend to anyone that is thinking bout buying one.

Magwell, well worth it.
I bought a 9mm 1911 Citadel. I've had 45's and couldn't take the recoil. I'm older now and with my arthritis and Fibromyalgia I just couldn't take the recoil of the 45. Along came the Citadel in 9mm. The only thing I missed that I had on my Glocks was the magwell. After searching and research I found several, but bought the this one. The only drawback was you have to inlet the inside of the grips. I have the Hogue wrap around with finger grooves. All I needed was an Exacto knife and a leather tool I use all the time. Being very careful it took me about 15 minutes and I was done. Grips fit perfectly against the magwell. I had to tap it a few times with a mallet and got it on and done. Great magwell and easy to install. Just take your time and be carefull.I bought a 9mm 1911 Citadel. I've had 45's and couldn't take the recoil. Works Great
Pros: Great product, matched up perfectly with my Metro Arms American Classic II 9mm pistol. They seem to be made out of a quality G10 material. Cons: Wasn't aware that it would need grip panels cut for it to work properly. So I got a pare from them also, fit perfectly with Klonimus magwell & Desert Grip Panels. I also had to dremel a bit off the left panel, it was cut to high & interfered with the extended slide stop/release lever. Not a issue though, I knew I would have to due to the extended slide release/stop. Update: I had to remove this from my 1911, this wouldn't allow me to properly seat the magazines with flat bottom panels (see picture). I only have one magazine that has an extended panel that works really well all the other three mags I own are like this in the pic. I did ... Perfect match for my R1 Enhanced , quality , fit & finish are all Very Good . I was unsure of how sturdy this type of mag well would be but after installing this it is rock solid and I have No concerns about long term use . Note : back side of grips needs to be relived where the mounting tabs are for them to fit perfectly flush with the frame but I considered that before I ordered .
