    Great Performance WITH 2nd inlet filter

    MUST place 2nd filter between pump and carburetor inlet. Most likely, previous carb. became difficult BECAUSE extremely small clearances in passages, inlet valve became clogged-----over time little by little. ALL NEW LINE FROM Fuel Tank to filter to pump to carb can work--- IF--- totally sanitary conditions are maintained during carb change work---routing on used equipment, tight fits, pushing lines onto hose fitting ports, mechanic encountered grime--all can introduce minute particles that gather in tight passages clogging stopping fuel or air or both. Particles in suspension settle when flow stops. Today s gasoline has vegetable (corn) based ethenal 10%. Growing things grow things. Vibration, heat, cooling, motion, at rest / 0ff ---migrate, gather. Even additives trying to help offer ...

    Poor quality

    I'm on my second one. The first one was put together damaged with missing pieces(see photo). These are built from poor materials that I don't expect to last long. Better off to spend the money on a factory replacement. The seller did send a replacement, hopefully it works and is intact unlike the first one.

    My mistake in ordering the wrong part.

    I ordered the wrong carb, but was able to use the fuel solinoid off it to still fix the John Deere I was working on so it all worked out. Product looked of good quality but I never tried it so I can't say much more than that.
