The way it should feel.
This spring works, this is the way it should feel, no more jerky 1st or 2nd gear shifts. A little stiffer but feels tight , no slop. I installed in 5 min, take a board and fully engage clutch to floor, get needle nose vice grips and clamp 2 rings, gently slide out spring and bracket. Reinstall new spring and bracket, no vice grip needed on reinstall.

This makes the car feel more like my 2008 GT did. Improved shifting performance by allowing to feel clutch better. Not light like a Mitsubishi or something now. Install a little rough at first but when you get it just right it is easily done.
