Inexpensive fix for your ice maker.
This is an excellent deal for replacing the 2 circuit boards that send and receive the laser beam that controls the icemaker level of ice. The boards are recessed behind 2 side panels and are easily accessed by screws. The smaller emitter is probably the problem, but be sure to replace both boards while you are at it for best results. Take care that you pull out and insert the electrical harnesses straight and true, and unplug the fridge while you do it because this correctly reboots the ice making process when you turn everything back on.This is an excellent deal for replacing the 2 circuit boards that send and receive the laser beam that controls the icemaker level of ice. Good parts
My ice maker stopped, bought a new one, still did not work bought these control boards. Still does not work. Bought the solenoid valves and still not working. All parts may be good. But don't know what else to try.

Ice Maker door sensor replacement boards solved the problem.
It made the ice maker operational again! The troubleshooting chart that came with it is very useful for other ice maker issues as well. $17 fixed it! Easy to replace too.
