Can't speak to its use yet but it's fitted to the sheath very well. Oiling and instructions are included by the seller not the manufacturer. Kingston Arms puts a wood core sheath with many of their swords which is usually only seen on higher-end swords. Additionally there are signs that all the fittings on the sword and the sheath are handmade.
