    Reasonable quality soap but somewhat disappointing fragrance

    I found the fragrance of this 'carbolic' soap somewhat weak. It is not like the traditional smell I remember of the carbolic soap of my childhood. The quality of the soap itself is good enough, but I think a lot of these modern so-called 'carbolic' soaps are marketed on ebay to evoke memories of the genuine carbolic soap of the past, with its distinctive anti-septic fragrance, and are priced as such; therefore, I think this one is over-priced due to the weak fragrance, and I'm sure decent household soap could be bought cheaper at a local retailer.

    May be old but certainly it's simply the best!
