Seems to be of good quality. The manufacturer needs to put a mounting plate in so you don't have to buy it separately. But that's not the sellers fault. Just wish it wasn't winter here so I can get it mounted on my trailer. Would recommend this saler.

I’m very happy with the winch so far. Seems well made and everything works as it should. I’ve had the winch on the trailer for a bit now and have only used it to load one truck but it pulled with ease. I’m a old school guy and did not think I would use the wireless remote. I tried it on the first truck and i don’t know how anyone ever made it with out the wireless remote. For the heck of it while unloading I walked away from the trailer to see how far it would work. Worked with not problem well passed 75’ away from the winch. I was very happy with that.I’m very happy with the winch so far. Seems well made and everything works as it should. I think I got a bad one, but it works now
Ok, so I got my winch and it didn't work at all... I would push the button and it just wouldn't do anything. So I had my friend (who is an electrical engineer) come look at it, and he fixed it so it works great now! I'm not sure what was wrong at first, but he tested it and wiggled some wires, and then it started shooting sparks from the inside of the motor, but once he fixed that, it started working perfectly fine. If it worked like it does now out of the box, it this would have been a glowing 5 star review, but it didn't... So take that as you will, I bet I just got a bad one and it is not a good representation of the winches being sold here. Even with all the trouble I have had, I would still recommend getting this winch. Ok, so I got my winch and it didn't work at all... I would push the button and it just wouldn't do anything. My first winch
Pulled my 7000lb tractor out of the mud with no problem using only one snatch block. Remote controls worked good. Steel cable didn’t wrap evenly going on though, and a portion of the cable got flattened/deformed. It’s my first winch though, so it may have been operator error. Will buy Dyneema synthetic cable to replace steel cable if it gets any more deformed.
