I bought this for my husband. He loves it and takes it with him to the beach when he plays beach volleyball. You could hear the speaker very loud and well, even in such a noisy setting. He gets many compliments on it. And the carrying strap it's the best accesory. At home is as loud as our big Sonos speaker. And the fact that you can charge your phone off it it's umvaliable.

Brand new in the box. First play never worked at all. Could not put volume up without losing sound and "crackling" noises.. not sure why , heard others that worked flawlessly. I must have got the "bad" one. Sorry JBL... usually they make great electronics. Guess this is what to expect when American companies job out the manufacturing to CHINA....... Sad

The only problem with this speaker it's the battery life. After a couple of uses using the speakers with a 75% of volume they only last 4 hours and with a 100% of the volume maybe 3 hours. I haven't use with a 50% of volume but I highly doubt that it can last 15 hours. Other than that everything works great.
