No Leaks
These Energizer lithium batteries work great and have a very long storage life AND THEY DON'T LEAK. I have quit buying Duracell and Energizer alkaline batteries as they have ruined many devices and I have too many to check all of them - some of the alkaline batteries leak in the unopened package. These lithium batteries are more expensive but the long life and no leakage make them a much better choice for me.These Energizer lithium batteries work great and have a very long storage life AND THEY DON'T LEAK. Energizer Ultra Lithium AAA batteries - Test super strong - Highly recommended.
RE Energizer Ultra brand Lithium batteries: Simply EXCELLENT!. I have tested two dozen of these AAA Lithium batteries and all have been 1.75-1.78 volts. Have never before seen this kind of output from AAA batteries. (Generally, new alkaline batteries test 1.55-1.58 in my experience).

Best AAA (nin-rechargeable) batteries you can get.
These look to be the genuine Energizer Lithium batteries and the date was actually 12-2040, which means that they were newer than advertised. So that means they are expected to last at least until the end of 2040. Amazing! This is the best price I have found for these batteries.

Worth the extra cost.
I've been using the Ultimate Lithiums for a very long time and I've found them to be dependable in extreme conditions,- hot weather, winter conditions, etc. I particularly like their long shelf life. My heaviest use is for outdoor activities, hiking, backpacking, long canoe trips, etc. Engaging in these lengthly excursions are not times when I want to have my batteries crapping out while using my GPS or headlamp,- you get the idea. Obviously, all batteries eventually die, but the lithiums put up one hell of a fight. I also have to say that the price on these was / is pretty good.
