I have a C-PAP machine which cost over $2300. I could not wear it as it made me feel uncomfortable and unnatural when I was sleeping. It's extreme and not necessary. I actually purchased a similar product for $99 and wanted a second one. I found this product which is only $6.95. It was worth trying it for such a low price. When I got it, and tried it, I was extremely happy with the results. So after paying over $2300 for one solution and $99 for another, then ultimately finding a solution that works for $6.95, is amazing. I highly recommend getting one and trying it. What do you have to lose? It's only $6.95. I took the sleep study to get the C-PAP machine. If you snore, you already know you have a problem. This solution prevents your tongue from dropping back and obstructing your airway. This does what the C-PAP does as it help you breath through your nose without obstruction. C-PAP forces air through your nose even when your tongue obstructs your airway. This solution pulls your tongue forward allowing you to breath though your nose without obstruction to your airway. It takes a few days to get used to it but once you do, you will be satisfied.Read full review

This product really works, but the darn thing keeps falling out. My mouth is small and my tongue doesn't fill the chamber, and if they came in a few sizes like small, med. large, these would work even better. I think the original maker of these may have also been better, as the edges of these cut into your gums because it's too big. Anyway, it was easy to use, but just doesn't stay in my mouth all night.

I think this item is of good quality and would work as described. However, I found that I must be allergic to the silicone the product is made from. I have a history of being allergic to some by-products of rubber, latex, and other plastics. When I was a kid, my mouth would begin to react by swelling when using a certain plastic cup. This product could be good if it were not for the allergic issue that I have. After just a short time of use, I could feel my mouth begin to react with some swelling. After a few hours, the swelling subsided. .

It's an interesting and simple device. It attempts to hold your tongue in place so it doesn't fall back in your throat. I tend to either take it out of my mouth or it falls out in the night. It's comfortable but I must remove it or something. I have been using it for two weeks and will try to continue using it for a couple weeks more and see. If not, I will try something else.

This may work, but in my own case taping over my mouth and breathing through my nose while I sleep is more comfortable and effective for stopping snoring. I also use a niteshift collar to stop me sleeping on my back, the position most conducive to snoring.
