Ambidextrous safety.
Very well made and finished item. My grips already came with ambi cutout, so no further work was necessary. Safety was properly installed by a gunsmith and functions perfectly.

Be careful when fitting and this better not be for your favorite 1911...
Price is right but requires a lot of fitting. I am left handed and own over 15 1911's so I have plenty of experience with ambi safety fittings. While the price is good the safety is flimsy and needed filing in more than the usual spot. After screwing with it I took several of the old safeties I have laying around to see if the frame on this ATI 1911 was out of spec or something and all the old right hand safeties I had worked flawlessly in this frame and they were from many different manufacturers. I should have expected this as I have one of these installed on my Kimber Ultra Carry and found it barely acceptable. I tried to save money and that is my fault but you have been warned. Price is right but requires a lot of fitting. I am left handed and own over 15 1911's so I have plenty of experience with ambi safety fittings. Ambi thumb safety
I didn't recommend this to anyone who likes to take there gun apart. Took my gun apart about 10 times and it cracked down the middle cheap thin metal. I would not trust this safety to keep you safe. Didn't even bother to ask for another one. But it did fit with no modifying that's why I gave it two stars.
