    easy fix for damaged Cut Off Valves

    1983 Honda CX650c The hardest part is removing the carburetors for repair. I was able to install the new valves w/o separating the carburetors. The actual installation took about 20 minutes with needle nose vice grips to grab the screws, you may be able to modify a Phillips bit to do the same thing but there is hardly any room to work. You may have to remove the filter box to reinstall - leave the overflow reservoir in the frame before you try to reinstall the filter box. You will have to mate the reservoir and the filter box before reconnecting the carburetors. Also the position of the boots from the filter box to the carburetors is critical, I used Shoe Goo to permanently attach them. The whole job removing the filter box and all will take a couple of hours and plan on being very ...
