    Good value power tool battery protection board

    Build and solder quality look good. Hole size for wire connection suitably large. Lack of heatsink was worrisome, but it ran cool at 40A. Undervoltage trip points seem to be accurate, but passive shutdown circuit means unit does not latch in open state. Cell equalizing function was not checked

    Blown resistor.

    One of the SMD 47ohm resistors blew as soon as I connected it to my battery system. Of which I followed the directions to a "T". The product was a dud.
