Nice looking item - more work then expected
Hole in plate was too small for my potentiometer, a factory KB Electronics item. Measure your potentiometer & make sure this will fit. Luckily I had some gasket type punches that worked to enlarge the hole. This .040 plate is far too fragile to drill. Knob has awkward to use flat blade set screws. I tapped it out for the next size up & used hex style set screws. Arrived with .040 plate bent. Sent in thin bubble wrap envelope. Inadequate protection for .040 plate such as this. I straightened it best I could and used it as the large knob did mostly cover the bend crease. In the end, nice looking item that worked as intended, but with considerably more work than expected. One more detail, keep the Acetone away from this plate. I used spray adhesive to glue it down and carefully cleaned a ... Just exactly what I wanted, and the quality I was hoping for.
The scale is very detailed and precisely the sweep of the potentiometer I had, and will be the same for most others. The knob fits it exactly and gives good control There is a line all the way down the knob to the scale so one can precisely align it to the value on the scale. Thee are all good things and exactly what I wanted when I bought this one. Peter
