Works Like A Charm!
I got some new tires and tubes along with new rubber bands for my Dad’s bicycle that was long over due for repair. I decided to go with the Kenda Brand 27 1-1/4th size tubes and tire replacement, and boy does it work like a charm. Good value but short lived
Put about 1400 miles on a pair of these tires before one of them failed. They lasted 1.5 years. Started failing around 1300 miles, when the wheel developed a hop to it, but didn't get to the point of failure until a month later when the side wall spill from the tread (where the yellow meets the black) leaving a large gash. There was no damage to the side wall that caused this, most likely a design flaw of the tires. The tires still have plenty of tread though and the one that hasn't failed will probable last a while longer. For what I paid, I'd call it good value. Good Tires
I'm using these tires on my vintage Schwinn Super Sport, and this tire will replace the one that finally gave out. Used a cheaper soft wall balloon tire until this came in, and just need to change it out again. I've use these on a couple bikes, and they're good tires,
