- b***b (1454)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis shaft bolts directly up to my John Deere 609 rotary cutter with the 21 spline gearbox shaft. You will need to bolt it down and drill out the splines protruding through the bolt holes. That is a small and easy modification. I used a slightly smaller diameter bolt on one side so the clutch did not walk while drilling the other side. Then repeat the other side and torque it down. The shaft performed lawlessly. With maintenance this shaft will last the remainder of my lifetime. Awesome Seller!
