      Great product, easy to use.

Great stuff. Easy to use just follow directions. The better you prep the metal surface the better it will look. Cotton balls and rubber gloves are your friends. If you aren't sure how to use it there are many good videos online, that's where I learned.it doesnt take a lot to do a rifle. I accidentally spilled my 3 ounce bottle but have plenty left for another couple of rifles. A 3 ounce bottle will go a long way. Longer if you dont spill it. 😁

    • Worked perfectly on my Stevens steel

I was concerned that some metals/bbl/receivers react differently to different brands of cold blueing. Took a shot with BC Super Blue. Lots of prep. The extra time you put into prepping the barrel pays dividends in the end. Mine was an old beater Stevens shot gun, rusted, pitted, and just plain rough. I am not kidding when I say this shotgun looks as close to new as I could have ever imagined. So, for old Stevens metal/alloy content, Super Blue will knock your socks off. Three applications and this bbl is deep blue/black and slick as glass.

    • Works great

Wow, really worked well giving a nice dark conversion coating to my gun components that date back to the 1960's. Two old rifles fully restored and was able to afford and do all the work myself without having to send out for the special blueing process. It was easy and results were amazing.

    • Invisible repair

I thought the original Birchwood Casey Liquid Gun Blue worked quite well until I used this. Hands down much better. I used it on a Winchester Model 70 barrel and receiver that is like glass and you couldn't even see where it was repaired. Very good !

    • Birchwood Casey super blue

Stripped in old barrel, and totally reblued it, using the super blue. It's not as dark as a hot blue finish. But after applying oil, letting it set for 24 hours, it darkened well. Used it on smaller parts as a full finish, as well. Used Birchwood Casey swaubers to apply the blue. Takes very little blue to work.
