Digitally remastered and expanded edition. This is the soundtrack album to accompany the unforgettable 1984 classic adventure fantasy film The NeverEnding Story. An atmospheric electronic soundtrack with tracks composed by leading German jazz composer Klaus Doldinger and electronic disco maestro Giorgio Moroder. This release also includes all the officially released remixes of the title track as sung by '80s heartthrob Limahl (ex-Kajagoogoo) and the extended version of Giorgio Moroder's 'Ivory Tower' that originally appeared as the b-side on Limahl's 'The NeverEnding Story' single. This limited edition black vinyl effect CD release is packaged in a miniature cardboard LP style sleeve with an exclusive six page color insert.

    80's movie nostalgia!

    Very cool packaging finds the CD made to look like a vinyl album, complete with a paper slip cover and a completely black colored CD, front and back! The digipak (cardboard) case completes the look nicely. As far as the music is concerned, I personally can't hear the title track without being taken back to that time period when we had an actor for an American president and boom boxes and bicycles ruled the day... This soundtrack also contains the movie score so that may be too much for the average fan but for a music nerd like me, I love it! I cannot recommend this item enough.
