A good addition to any Hooverphonic collection, a good band to get into
This is a good CD and mine was in great condition and for a good price, always a plus. Hooverphonic has an interesting sound, they are hard to pin down into any genre. I have been a fan of Sonic Youth and sometimes they remind me of them, kind of edgy with sound effects and drawn out parts of instrumentals. They also remind me a bit of Switchblade Symphony, the kind of music that is nice to have in the background when working. I found it an enjoyable CD to add to my growing Hooverphonic collection. Stereo Listening
I bought the Hooverphonic music as it was recommended as good listening on hi-fi stereo. It does have good sound mixing to enjoy as stereo. However the old "Qsound" recordings is where you can really find the maxed mixing for listening from your stereo equipment. "Qsound" doesn't give a true sound stage, so I guess it isn't accepted by audiophiles, but I really like it, and it makes music truly an enjoyable experience in and of itself.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
