    It is a good hard disk, not as slow as the cheaper 8mb buffer hdd Sata3 drives.

    This item works well with sata2 port as well. My PC starts quick, and I have no problem with anything. The buffer on my hard disk makes the difference, which is 2 times the amount of the lower rated sata3 buffer. I would say this hard disk could meet minimum requirements for games, with a sata3 port, and at the moment am trying to get a pcie card that uses sata3 port for better speed. It is, already fast, but it could be even better for gameplay with a sata3 port available in my mid tower. Although the newer hard disks come with 32 mb buffer, I feel 16 mb buffer is good to do everyday tasks, even if this hard disk has 5400 rpm.

    Nice harddrive

    I used it to clone my Windows 7 hard drive using a free clone program. No issues, it worked, MS accepted it as original. Lucky because my other Win 7 HD Failed and I (like everyone else) had no full program restore disks. It save me from buying an MS OS disk and rebuilding the new HD.. Thanks

    Just what I need for non-traditional application.

    Very satisfied with product. Quiet, fast and reliable. Am using the hard drive in my bedroom DTV/recorder receiver. Pulled old noisy hard drive out and replaced with the solid state. The DTV receiver formatted the new drive and it runs absolutely quiet all night while it records, updates, etc. CAUTION..SAVE OLD HARD DRIVE BECAUSE PREVIOUSLY RECORDED PROGRAMS WILL NOT BE ADDED TO NEW HARD DRIVE.
