SynopsisMore than 1,000 species of mushrooms described in detail. Over 700 paintings and drawings reveal subtle field marks that cannot be captured into photographs., Uses drawings and detailed descriptions to identify more than a thousand species of mushrooms, and indicates which are edible, and which are poisonous.
I originally borrowed this book (an older edition) from the library. Once I extensively read it, I wanted to get the same edition. However, once I figured out there is a newer edition, naturally I went for it. The only drawback is the softcover, which I plan to laminate, to extend the shelf wear.
Inside the cover page you will find some drawings of the most common mushrooms, as well as the ruler. It can be therefore used directly when in field for an easy identification of the mushrooms.
Great buy!
