    A nature photographer's dream

    I am finally getting with the times and switching from a Canon DSLR to a Sony mirrorless. For anyone else making this leap, just know it's got a lot of bells and whistles and the learning curve is steep (at least for a non gearhead like me), but I can already feel it's going to pay off. - She's light: I generally use a LemurStrap and/or holsters when gallivanting through the woods, and this smaller, lighter body feels a lot less clunky and out of control. - She's focused: The real time eye AF is beyond my comprehension. - She's fast äf, boi: I can't even deal with the high frame rate. And coupled with the unbelievable auto focus... Maybe I'll finally get a clear photo of literally anything in motion. - She's quiet: I prefer the sound of the shutter to confirm I actually took a ...

    The AF system in the SONY A9 II is the fastest and most accurate I've ever seen in a camera to date. Granted, I haven't used all the cameras out there in the world, but this is just incredible.

    FOCUSING PHENOM !!!!

    The camera is a “freak”. I have been a Nikon shooter for over 20 years and Sony A9 II has converted me. I was going to “try” this lens with the Sony 200-600 G lens to see what all the hype was about. All my Nikon equipment will be going up for sale. INCLUDING my beloved Nikon 600 f4 G ED. Hoping to get the Sony 600 f4 - weighs 6 lbs !!!! The focusing on A9II is phenomenal and locks on even at 20 FPS. Not going to lie - Set up of the camera is somewhat difficult, but once you have your buttons customized, you won’t be disappointed. Read all the reviews on line and believe it. I’m convinced.
