    Outlet powered speaker

    Well, thinking it was wireless I was expecting a rechargeable battery. Not the case, has to be plugged into wall receptacle. It took me two days to get it to make a sound. It seems as though you can only use it with their musiccast app. The sound is good when connected to a receiver but there is a delay of about 1/2 second that I have not figured out. Quality construction and good packaging. Maybe another firmware update?

    Excellent addition to the Yamaha MusicCast sound system. It’s versatile on input. You can place it in any desired location. The app allows independent control or seamless pairing with the amplifier. It’s a bit of a challenge to initially set up.

    Great product to augment my sound system

    Great product that integrates both my Apple gear and Yamaha music equipment. Nice sound and design. BUT, like all other WiFi based systems, it's not perfect and the latency (lipsync) and WiFi sensitivity (IGMP settings). Using ethernet cable make this less convenient, but more stable.

    Nice speakers!
