I bought it to use at home and on the road. It's easy to use and doesn't heat up the house which is important in AZ. The book is easy for follow with clear instructions. It is important to use the right type of pan with the NuWave. Luckily for me, I have cast iron pans and stainless steel pans with magnetized bottoms. This product only works with magnetized pans.
I haven't tested it much but I expect to get a lot of use from it while on road trips and at hotels. It's just what we were looking for.
I and my wife were impressed with the tv commercials and YouTube videos and we had to decide whether to replace our stove because the oven needed parts and it was too old, a new one would cost close to $1,000, and my wife didn't cook that much anymore. We opted for the nuwave PIC TITANIUM and it's the best move we ever made. She took to it like a veteran, found it easy to operate right off the bat and praised it after the first use! Our pots were perfect for induction.
Now, to make up for the failed oven we just bought a CUISINART TOB-260N and things are improving food wise.
This is the biggest and most powerful newave cook top. 1800. Watts and the coils are made heavy and have a 12" cook radius. My other unit the NeWave Pic Fix is only 1300 watts and a 6" cook radius. That ones going into the camper. Sure do love the Precise cooking temperatures it does make a big difference in preparing food I just wouldn't a believed it myself until I've tried it
Does everything it claims to do. Have used it several times and works flawlessly. Used a digital thermometer to check accuracy & is within 5•. Will not use the glass stovetop ever again (unless the nuwave breaks).
