This is a Alexa Voice Remote for Fire TV Gen 2
This remote is OEM and is a replacement to replace the original one that stopped working after four years. It arrived earlier than expected and is a new product. Batteries are not provided. As soon as I installed (2) AAA batteries and paired, it was ready to go. Pairing was relatively easy as it took a few minutes for my Fire TV to recognize this remote. Instructions state to hold down the remote HOME button in order to be recognized to finalize pairing. I used new AAA batteries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Will not pair with my 2nd gen tv box
After many many tries and even resetting the box still would not pair . For the price at the end of the yr savings i was just able to buy a new fire stick for a 7 dollar difference. Lost some of the storage space but worth not fighting this remote to pairVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great remote good price
My old remote started failing loosing connections. Saw remotes were 25$ new got upset might as well buy new fire tv stick. But found these and thought I’d tried them. I have like 4 fire tvs so i can always have a spare remote. Used my phone as a remote went to settings add new remote paired fast and did an auto update. I recommend these only 11.50 each better than 25$ for 1. Looks almost new buttons arent faded like my other remotes
