Great price for 2000 watts of pure sine wave power
This is the second 2000 watt PSW inverter I've purchased from this vendor. The first one performed well enough to justify having a spare in case of failure. The inverter is part of my solar charged generator design which provides near-normal power for 16-20 hours during an outage and can provide much less power on an on-going basis. The output waveform of the inverter is better than the power delivered by our local co-op. The pictures tell the story of power quality. My power requirement during a short outage is typically less than 1200 watts so this inverter provides a good cushion. I've done metered testing up to about 1600 watts of output. The DC to AC conversion is 90% efficient below 300 watts and drops back to the advertised greater than or equal to 85% above 300 watts. If ... Had this a couple weeks and ran 15kw off it. Did some tests running resistive and inductive loads up to 1750w with no problem. It came with two pairs cables but needs a third to get enough current. In the inside I was surprised to find branded components! The input stage has IRF FET's. Also the diode bridge and output stage FET's are made by Fairchild. Never seen all these things in a inverter at this price point. Good value!Had this a couple weeks and ran 15kw off it.
