    One of the Rare Successful Live Action Disney Remakes

    Disney may be on a roll remaking some of their animated hits. However, they were doing it with 101 Dalmatians. And it actually works. The humor is funny. Multiple animals help Pongo and Perdita and their puppies escape and defeat Cruella. The original last name of Roger is restored. Anita is given a job unlike in the original film. And she is no doormat like in the original film as Cruella (who isn't the main character and isn't in too many scenes) soon learns. Relationships between characters are built which explains certain things. And those are just some of the rules this film abides by which is more than can be said for the designated "sequel".
