    Likes it so much I bought a spare

    Good handy little measuring tool. This one appeared to be NOS. The corrosion protection coating had gummed up to wear I couldn't open the leaves. Took a little soaking in solvent to loosen things up. Some discoloration on the blades. This is my second one. They differ in that this one had a 0.0015" as the thinest blade, while my first one had a 0.002" blade. Same part number.

    A machinist quality tool for machinist work.

    My typical mechanic's leaf gauge was no longer accurate due to rust and rough edges. Glad to have machinist quality tool, as a bad number is worst than no number.
