Neil Simon's touching romantic comedy tells the story of a divorced ex-dancer (Marsha Norman), with a small daughter (Quinn Cummings) to support, who must start her life anew when her latest lover abandons her to pursue his career.     My Best Romantic Movie Ever..

    Very moving. Have liked both Dreyfuss (American Graffitti) & Marsha Mason (Cinderella Liberty) since those movies. The remake really does NOT compare of this Goodbye Girl. I watch it over & over at times. Never tire of it. That is why I had to own it.
