Nice compact HD enclosure

A good unit, but flimsy compared to older version
Works fine, happy with it. The materials used are flimsier than the older model NexStar TX that was USB 2.1. The SATA connector circuit board is poorly attached to the end cap of the enclosure with a couple of dabs of silicone. One end isn't secure on mine, the silicone isn't holding it so the circuit board separates from the end cap if you try to disconnect the drive from it. Poor quality compared to the rock solid USB.2.1 models I have bought for years before buying this newer USB 3.0 model. They should go back to the materials they used before, and improve their quality control. it's a shame because the USB 2.1 model was rock solid and I bought many of them for years, for myself and for family and friends.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap Aluminum Enclosure. Not Very Good.
The enclosure is made with aluminum and the board inside is doable but not great (the micro-b port flexes with the board and with enough pressure you can easily snap it off). It needs some foam inside since even with a 2.5 HDD/SDD it is still hollow. The enclosure needs to be stuffed to keep the medium from banging around from the inside.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well made and easy to assemble
