    Stinger DS LED HL

    Compared to the original Stinger Pluses: Uses the same charger, has an additional button on the rear/bottom, no annoying strobe function & has a brighter light than the original. Minuses: 1.5" longer (9" vs 7.5") & will not fit in my old holster. I have only had it for a few weeks. Brought it to the Sequoias last weekend and it got left in the mud/rain all night @ 40 degrees, clicked on with no problem. Appears to be durable which is good as I have been told I am "hard on equipment" by Len Letze of the OC. 4.5 stars

    One thing missing

    One thing missing is to be able to focus the light beam just a little. I have used stinger for just about all my career, and they keep getting better. Brighter is better for the eyes when you work at nighttime.

    Police Officer

    The light is exactly what I had expected, very bright and durable. It did not come with a charger and I thought it should have, fortunately for me I already own other Streamlight stinger's and the charger worked or I would have sent it back. The price was very good, I suppose that is why no charger but they could have or should have mentioned that. If it had a charger it would have gotten all 5 stars.
