    This is the only correct cap

    For my PT Cruiser, I first tried a cap from local parts house. Those do not come with a tether and over 8 weeks gave me a gas cap notice on my dashboard. I could open the cap and close again and the message would go away. The cap I am reviewing comes with the tether line and the 'thread' design is different from the parts house caps. This thread design is identical to Chrysler, therefore a perfect match. No more notices on the dashboard!

    Replaced my old gas cap with this one . ...

    Replaced my old gas cap with this one . Still didn’t fix the problem with the gas cap light in my truck. Took it to my mechanic who did a fog test and cap was leaking bad . Replaced it with a knock off brand and it worked fine .

    New cap works

    I had trouble with the original gas cap of my Jeep Patriot the causing engine light to come on as well as a gas cap light. When I changed the cap to this new one everything went back to normal . All lights went out. This is a really good product It was easy to install, about 3 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one.

    Worked Great

    3-year-old vehicle continued to throw a check engine light for the gas cap not being on tight (evap leak), despite cranking it repeatedly to ensure tightness. I replaced the cap with this one & have had no issues ever since. Perfect fit, easy installation, just like original (with tether). Great, easy fix.
