Big bang for a few bucks
This amp is awesome. It does go into protect on me and resets if I go above the mid 20's on my headunit when max undistorted is 34. My only battery is an old one under the hood and am sure I just can't feed it enough power. I contacted support about an hour ago to get a second opinion but sure that's it. Smart 3 taramps clip and protection say goodbye to old digital amplifier circuits 2 or 1 ohm 3k output it is underrated . 2 k on 4 ohms and protection works like a dream if you accidentally bump your sub signal clipping the amp extensively it will go to protect mode. Big power
In my experience with it running off a factory HU and loc is I got alot of vocals thru the sub. The filters aren't very good in my opinion. I'm having to buy a active crossover to run it cleanly. small package, big noise!
rated at 12.6 volts so you know you're always supplying enough power to it. very efficient & runs cool. does not take over sized 0 awg very well & need special adapters to do so.
